The Respect Programme

The Respect Programme shall so far as is reasonably practicable comply with the Data Protection Principles contained in the GDPR to ensure all personal data is:

  • We operate an email mailing list programme, used to inform subscribers about any updates to website or lesson plans, upcoming training events and/or news we publish. Users can subscribe through an online automated process where they have given their explicit permission. Subscribers’ personal details are collected, processed, managed and stored in accordance with the regulations named above.

How long do we keep your information

  • We will not keep your information for longer than is necessary. If you decide to unsubscribe from our mailing list, we will securely erase all your information.

Social Media

  • We adopt a Social Media Policy to ensure our organisation and our staff conduct themselves accordingly online. While we may have official profiles on social media platforms users are advised to verify authenticity of such profiles before engaging with, or sharing information with such profiles. We will never ask for user passwords or personal details on social media platforms.
  • There may be instances where our website features social sharing buttons, which help share web content directly from web pages to the respective social media platforms. You use social sharing buttons at your own discretion and accept that doing so may publish content to your social media profile feed or page. For example when you ‘like’, ‘share’ or comment on one of our publications. Please remember it is your responsibility to set appropriate privacy settings on your social network accounts so you are comfortable with how your information is used and shared on them.

 

How we keep your information safe
